Brisbane is the beautiful capital city of Queensland, Australia. Visiting Brisbane is like finding yourself in an adventure wonderland. A good way of seeing the city is by foot, by river cruise or by a speedy ferry. The Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), in the South Bank area, is the biggest modern art gallery in Australia. The GOMA houses some of the most well known works of modern art from all over the world. The suburb of Mount Coot-tha in Brisbane includes the state forest and the Brisbane Botanic Gardens. Animal lovers can see Australian wildlife up close at Lone Pine or Alma Park Zoo. For the outdoors types, head out to sea on a fishing charter, or go on a sailing tour or cruise of Moreton Bay.
