A classical and romantic city, Ponte De Lima is the oldest town in Portugal. It is known as significant during the Roman settlement. Furthermore, it is located on the southern bank of the Lima River which showcases the exquisite roman architecture with a bridge that extends through the river with low arches. The old center is like taking a trip back in time with its preserved streets and buildings dating back to the 14th century. The Largo de Cam?es is an 18th century fountain located in the main square in Ponte De Lima which is a great way to spend the day with its various outdoors café and great weather.
