San Luis de Potosi City is the capital of the State of San Luis Potosi. The city offers visitors the chance to discover the rich inheritance of historical culture, art and architecture. Among San Luis Potosi City's principal feasts is the National Potosin Fair, which is celebrated in August with a commercial, cattle and industrial exhibition. San Luis Potosi is also one of the 59 Light Cities that exist in the world. The buildings are illuminated to showcase the detailed architecture and form and at the same time provide a romantic ambience to the city.
